After visiting relatives, we joined the Norwegian Bliss for a seven-day cruise from LA to Mexico. First stop: Puerto Vallarta – and it won us over immediately. We did what we always do, laced up and explored on foot, climbing until the whole city spread out below us. Worth every step. Next stop: Mazatlán!

Every time I’m in Mexico, Señorita finds its way into my head and stays there. No complaints. This trip was no different.

First time in Mazatlán — home to a 13-mile Malecón, perfect for a half marathon. Wide, open, and right on the sea. We even stopped to watch a cliff diver launch himself into the water below and resurface, cool as anything
